How is the course?
Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology (B Tech in IT) course is four years (eight semesters). The course is designed to give students knowledge about IT principals, computer systems, programming languages, networking, databases and software development.
The aim on the course is to combine practical classes and theoretical knowledge. The university believes that this will prepare students to work in various IT industries.

The course is purely related to information technology. So many of these topics are related to IT. According to the syllabus, there are projects in the fifth, sixth and eighth semesters. Similarly, internships have been arranged in the sixth, seventh and eighth semesters. In particular, the course has the following topics.
-Computer Programming Fundamentals: The course covers programming languages, data structures, algorithms, computer organization and software engineering. These topics are essential to understand and develop software applications.
- Information Technology Concept: After studying the course, students gain knowledge about IT infrastructure, hardware components, operating systems and software applications. They give knowledge about how IT systems work and how to manage them.
-Networking and Security: The course covers computer networks, network protocols, cyber security and information security. It helps to secure, maintain and effectively implement the network system.
-Database Management: Students should also read about database design, structured query language (SQL), data modeling and database management systems.
-Web Technology: The course also includes topics on backend and frontend development, web application frameworks and web technologies.
-Software Development: Programming languages such as Java, Python, C++ etc. are kept. Which helps in software development.
- Elective: In addition to the main course, there are other subjects which students can study according to their interest. There are elective subjects like mobile app development, cloud computing, artificial intelligence and data analytics.
